Does Cirey need an account?
Yes — Cirey uses Sign in with Apple. It asks for your name so the app can greet you, and never your email address. The app stays signed in through Apple's protected Keychain until you sign out or Apple revokes the credential.
Can I import from another reading tracker?
Yes. Export a CSV from Goodreads or StoryGraph, then choose Import in Cirey. To move your book list back, export a CSV with Goodreads-compatible columns and import it into your chosen service. The receiving service determines which fields it retains.
Are photographed pages uploaded anywhere?
No. Apple Vision recognises the text on your device. You review and edit the result, and the image is then discarded.
How do I export or delete my data?
Open You → Export Library. Choose CSV or Excel for your book list, Markdown for books, margins, Study Cards and shelves, or JSON for the full export including sessions and goals. Privacy controls let you remove local and synced personal data. Export is always free.
Is Cirey a subscription?
No. The free plan holds 5 books with 5 margins and 5 Study Cards per book, two private shelves, one shared shelf of your own and one you join, with reading, streaks, core statistics and export. Lifetime removes those limits and adds the full statistics for €29.99 once. At a limit, everything you already made stays readable, editable and exportable. There is no recurring charge, no buyer-count promotion, no planned increase, no advertising and no tracking.
Which devices does it run on?
iPhone and iPad, iOS 26 or later. It is built for iPhone and iPad separately rather than one stretched to fit, and honours Dynamic Type, VoiceOver and Reduce Motion throughout.
